Good day all!
Today's the day, I finally get to share our master bedroom with you. When we first moved into the apartment we simply put up the huge Cal-King bed and that's basically it. To tell you the truth, it felt very cold and boring but it got the job done. After all, the most important this was having a place to lay our head every night. Even though it was purely functional, I at least made sure the bed was made. (Trying to find a reason to pat myself on the back right now.) Here's the starting point...
And here we are now... so much more welcoming.
Another before showing the horrible state of my side on the right.
And after...
This the table and skirt I made. I think it turned out pretty cute. I like the feminine touch it adds to my side.
Across from the bed is my dresser. In this picture you can also see the curtain I sewed with burlap trim.
I plan on adding more decorative storage up here because I have more jewelry I would like to display.
The mannequin that's holding some of my earrings now was a gift from my niece. Sweet right.

Thanks for the patience... hope it was worth the wait. It looks like I'll be tackling the breakfast nook next, per the hubby's request.

It's gorgeous, I love that you just tweaked a few things to make a huge difference! Beautiful table skirt and styling!
